[nice tight copy, minor wear to extremities; jacket has a somewhat ragged tear across the spine about 2 inches from the top (minor paper loss), otherwise just lightly edgeworn]. The screenplay by Williams, accompanied by two one-act plays, "27 Wagons Full of Cotton" and "The Long Stay Cut Short; or, The Unsatisfactory Supper," from which it was developed. The Elia Kazan film, released in 1956, was a pretty raw piece of work.
