[nice tight clean copy, slight fading to top edge (cloth and red topstain); jacket shows no significant wear, but is a bit faded at the spine]. Albee's Pirandellian play about a group of young couples engaged in playing psychologically revealing party games. Although the Time magazine critic (quoted in a jacket blurb) thought it "Albee's best work since 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'," but audiences apparently felt otherwise: its original Broadway run in 1980 lasted all of twelve performances.
