[nice and clean, with just a bit of wear at the edges, minor soft diagonal crease at upper right corner of front cover; note also that this particular copy was bound (probably in error) with double covers]. (A Sepia Celebrity Book) Series (B&W and color photographs) "Collector's Edition" memorial tribute book, issued shortly after the singer's death from cancer, at the age of 45, in February 1965. The album, in fact, begins with a eulogy, a six-page account of his funeral, and a four-page chapter about "The Last Five Days" of his life. The remainder of the 82-page book is a glowing account of "his career, his life, his legacy," profusely illustrated with photographs of him performing, hobnobbing with his many celebrity friends, his wife and children, etc.
