[a lovely copy, with just the teensiest bit of edgewear here and there, and a tiny pull-tear hole at the edge of pp. 29-30]. (B&W photographs) Nice program/tribute book, largely photographic; also includes short essays by Arlene Croce, John Green, Marcelle Clements, and Adolph Green, plus a filmography, and thankfully absent the several pages of AFI puffery which were often included in later years. NOTE that this printing has a pictorial cover, indicating that it was probably a "souvenir" edition of the program, produced for sale or distribution to AFI members; the actual program distributed at the event, following the pattern of earlier years, had a silver cover bearing only the AFI logo, and is much less commonly seen. This printing also lacks the 8-page beige-stock insert noted by at least one other bookseller.
