(price-clipped) [nice solid copy, just the faintest shelfwear, but with a black remainder stripe on bottom edge; jacket is similarly quite nice, but rather clumsily price-clipped (taking a little text with it)]. SIGNED by the author on the title page (like most copies, it seems). Time-travel novel about a Vietnam veteran "haunted by the death of his Sioux friend," and is "inadvertently" (I believe that's the usual method) transported back to the year 1876, and plunked down smack in the middle of the Sioux Indian War. Crazy Horse and General George Crook are major characters in the story. Signed by Author
