New York Random House (c.1936) NO Unstated ed Hardcover Very Good 
(no dust jacket) [moderate exterior wear, binding good and solid, previous owner's last name in red pencil on ffep, spine cloth somewhat faded and gilt lettering thereon rubbed but still readable]. Two plays by the husband-and-wife writing team, the first of which is a classic Hollywood satire. The screenwriting duo portrayed in the play were purportedly inspired by Grover Jones and his long-time partner William Slavens McNutt; the characters were portrayed by James Cagney and Pat O'Brien in the 1938 Warner Bros. film adaptation.

New York Samuel French 1932 First Edition Hardcover Very Good 
(no dust jacket) [good solid copy, with some not-serious water staining along fore-edge and to cloth at base of spine, moderate shelfwear to bottom edge (boards exposed a little at corners)]. Satirical farce about a foreign correspondent in Moscow. Introductory note by Herman Shumlin, who produced the play on Broadway. Scarce.
