Shelley, Percy Bysshe; taken through the clairaudience of Shirley Carson Jenney The Great War-Cloud: A Spirit Communication from Heaven [*SIGNED*] London Arthur H. Stockwell, Ltd. [1938?] NO First Edition Hardcover Very Good+ Signed by Author (no dust jacket) [attractive copy, with purple cloth binding still vivid and gilt lettering very bright; the binding is split (but not separated) in the middle of the book, but all pages are still securely attached]. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author (Ms. Jenney, not Mr. Shelley) on the ffep. Old poets never die -- they just send their latest works via "Clairaudient Medium" (as Ms. Jenney calls herself). An odd bit of posthumous Shelleyana, with the clairaudient averring that the poet "has described the horrors of War to me most potently, through the many years of psychic work with him," and that her work "is from dictation only; I am asked for the Etheric Tone." Fish gotta swim / birds gotta fly /poets gotta make verse / after they die. And we all gotta eat. Signed by Author Price:
