[a solid copy with very little wear, age-toning to page edges, one-time owner's signature and date of original purchase on front pastedown; jacket is nice-looking with only minor wear, but is badly faded at spine (with the title gone completely)]. "To a doctor's wife jealousy and mistrust come easy, fostered by knowledge of confidences intimately given by women patients." To work out these anxieties, one such wife decides to fight back by forming "a band of doctors' wives leagued against their common enemy, the patient." (Cheaper than therapy, I suppose.)
