(no dust jacket) [ex-rental library book (only signs are light stamp on rear pastedown and remnants of jacket flaps on both pastedowns); moderate wear to top and bottom edges, several corners bumped, dust-soiling to top edge, small rubber-stamped bookseller's name on front pastedown, large "Ex Libris / My Book -- My Pledge!" bookplate on ffep (owner's name/address not filled in)]. Vintage racy romance. "Thora Corning had stately beauty and appealing charm, but her friend Sybil Morgan was sex appeal incarnate. So it was small wonder that Jerry Logan, Thora's fiance, succumbed momentarily to Sybil's lure. Jerry's mother, arriving unexpectedly, suspected Thora of being her son's mistress and ordered the girl to break with him."
