The first of the author's plays to be presented on Broadway, and his first major success. [I believe this to be the "B" (or second state) binding: although it has the 9/16" tall capital letters in the front cover title (the only point specified by McBride), it does NOT have the "larger upper case letters in publisher's imprint at foot of spine" cited by another seller as requisite for the first state ("A") binding.]
