[nice copy, no significant wear to either book or jacket]. (B&W photographs) INSCRIBED briefly and SIGNED by the author on the title page. Memoir by a screenwriter who toiled, largely uncredited, mostly during the late silent period (1925-1929). The book's title derives from what is probably her best-known story credit (shared with her husband, Ernest Maas), for the 1947 Betty Grable musical comedy film of that name. As the author was already 99 years old when the book was published -- as evidenced by her shaky signature -- I can't imagine there are too many signed copies of this floating around....although she did live to be over 111!
