[a touch of wear at spine ends, otherwise clean and tight; jacket very lightly tanned at spine, no other significant wear]. Gender-bending farce (before gender-bending was a thing), set in a psychiatric clinic. Orton's final play, it was first performed in 1969, almost two years after his death at the age of 34. Laid in is the "Curtain Time" (book club) flyer, containing six photographs from the play (the book itself is not illustrated). NOTE that although the copyright page credits a 1970 essay by John Lahr entitled "Artist of the Outrageous," that essay is NOT included in this printing of the play, possibly for copyright reasons.
