[age-toning and light foxing to edges of text block, very slight bumping to top corners; jacket has a few tiny tears and various bits of shallow chipping at edges (possible insect-nibbling), light soiling to rear panel, rubbing/scuffing to spine, heavy wear (a few worn-through spots) along front hinge]. (B&W photographs) Memoir by the Mexican-born film actress, more famous for her relationships (including an early affair with Errol Flynn and a troubled seven-year marriage to Tyrone Power) than for her somewhat lackluster Hollywood career (her most notable credit being TARZAN AND THE MERMAIDS). She claims in her book, however (at least per the jacket blurb) that her public image as an "international playgirl...exquisitely desirable, but selfish, overambitious and reckless," is "a false image, not justified by the facts." In any case, you gotta be impressed by the fact that she could provide a Diego Rivera portrait of herself for the dust jacket!
