(no dust jacket) [considerable surface deterioration to cloth covers, but internally clean with a sound binding; to be considered a reading/reference copy only]. (pen and ink drawings) It's claimed in the Foreword, by the Minister for Education and President of The National Fitness Council of N.S.W., that this is "the first book, written in English, which deals exclusively and in detail, with sabre play." The author is pictured (in a small frontispiece photo) in "the uniform of the Royal Hungarian Army," and the first few pages contain reproductions of his bona fides: letters of gratitude from the Sydney University Fencing Club (he was its Life President), the Royal Australian Navy, and the Australian Military Forces. Touché!
